Dennis Haber is Executive Vice President of Agency for Consumer Equity, with ofices in Westchester County and Garden City, NY). He is a distinguished member of the New York State Bar Association. In 2005 he submitted testimony to Congress on H.R, 2892 Reverse Mortgages to Help America’s Seniors Act and H.R. 3859 To Establish the Inter Agency Council on Meeting the Housing & Service Needs of Seniors.

Dennis also helped reduce title charges on reverse mortgages by explaining reverse mortgage concepts to the Title Insurance Rate Service Association (TIRSA), the rate service organization and statistical agent licensed by the Superintendent of the state of New York.

Dennis has also been published in regional and national publications including Elder Law Attorney, New York Law Journal, Real Estate Weekly, Senior Market Advisor, EA Journal, Nassau Lawyer and Suffolk Lawyer, to name a few. He has also been a featured “Ask the Expert” columnist in Newsday, and been featured in Long Island Business News. He has written an accredited course on reverse mortgages for the Wealth Preservation Institute.

He has presented reverse mortgage seminars to mortgage industry trade groups, bar associations, accountant & financial planning organizations. He also acts as a consultant to many professionals throughout the country that wish to give their clients complete and accurate information on reverse mortgages.

In 2006, The National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association recognized Dennis’ outstanding achievements by presenting him with an award for exemplary service to the industry. Dennis also serves on the advisory council to the largest reverse mortgage lender in the USA.

In addition to authoring Piggy Bank Your Home, he has contributed to Happily Ever After….Expert Advice for Achieving the Retirement of Your Dreams and The CPA's Guide To Long Term Care Planning.

He has also written The Haber Way & Playing The Real Estate Game. The former helps people understand how to apply for a mortgage and the latter discusses the real estate process.
